NORMAL – Since the end of November the Normal Theater has been closed due to COVID-19. That will change later this week.
“We were always shooting for the first week in February and we can officially say that this Thursday, Feb. 4 the Normal Theater will be back open welcoming people in for in-person screenings,” Town of Normal Civic Arts Manager Adam Fox told WJBC’s Scott Miller.
Fox says the theater in Uptown Normal will operate at a reduced capacity of 50 guests. Seats will be assigned and Fox encourages people to purchase tickets online, but tickets can be purchased at the box office the night of the show.
More information about the reopening of the Normal Theater can be found here.
