Staff member in Blue Ridge school district tests positive for COVID

MANSFIELD – 7th grade students at Blue Ridge Junior High School in Mansfield will return to remote learning for the rest of the week due to COVID-19.

According to a Blue Ridge CUSD #18 Facebook post, a junior high staff member tested positive. The district said through contact tracing it was determined that all 7th grade students may have been near the staff member and are considered close contacts.

The Blue Ridge district runs three schools in Farmer City and Mansfield.
