BLOOMINGTON – A man was shot in the foot Friday night on the city’s east side, according to Bloomington police.
Officers were called around 8:55 p.m. to the 700 block of East Monroe Street for an armed subject. When officers arrived, they located a victim, a 30-year-old man, who had an injury consistent with a gunshot wound. It was reported the shooting happened outside and the circumstances around the incident are still under investigation.
BPD said the victim was transported to Carle BroMenn Medical Center and was reported to be in stable condition. No other injuries were reported.
No suspect information is available and no arrests have been made.
