BLOOMINGTON – McLean County’s rolling positivity rate held steady at 3.4% Wednesday as local health officials reported four new cases of COVID-19.

The county’s case total was unchanged because further investigation found four previous cases were no longer McLean County residents, according to MCHD Administrator Jessica McKnight.
There are 12 people currently hospitalized, two in intensive care, and 176 are in home isolation.
15 additional people have been released from isolation, now 3,256 have recovered from the virus. There have been 23 COVID-related deaths.
Meanwhile, MCHD and Chestnut Health Systems will setup a mobile COVID testing site Thursday from 9 a.m. until noon in Heyworth. It will be located at 103 S. Buchanan. The testing site uses the self-administered nasal swab tests, with each person self-swabbing as instructed and monitored by an on-site staff member.
