BLOOMINGTON – McLean County health officials Tuesday reported 37 new cases of COVID-19 as 108 additional people have recovered from the virus.
The recovery total is now 1,609, according to the McLean County Health Department. There are 1,348 active cases, seven people are hospitalized, two in intensive care, and the rest are in home isolation.
The county’s rolling positivity rate has been going down but inched up Tuesday to 6.7%. There have been 18 COVID-related deaths.
Meanwhile, just two students at Illinois State University tested positive for the virus on Monday. ISU’s rolling positivity rate has gradually decreased to 6.2% and the case total is 1,385. Illinois Wesleyan University announced one new case, as there are 51 active cases, according to the school’s online dashboard.
