NORMAL – A body was found Monday afternoon in a wooded area in north Normal.
Normal Police said the body was located around 12:30 p.m. near Greenbriar Drive and Hershey Road. NPD detectives and the McLean County Coroner’s office were called to the scene. The person has not been identified and an autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday, according to a news release. More information will be available after the autopsy.
The death remains under investigation by Normal Police and the coroner’s office.
