CHAMPAIGN – In much of Illinois, students, parents, and teachers are still waiting for details about what they’re supposed to do this fall.
“They’ve got to have kind of a hybrid plan,” Gov. JB Pritzker said Monday, “or at least the ability for kids who can’t go to school because they may have immunosuppression or they have someone in their own home who has an immunocompromised system, that they have the ability to learn over the Internet.
“We all know that’s not as good, but we live in some very unusual moments.”
In Urbana, he touted the University of Illinois’ development of a coronavirus test which it will give to students.
