BLOOMINGTON – U.S. Rep. Rodney Davis joins a list of people who are a bit concerned with Gov. JB Pritzker’s “Restore Illinois” plan.
Davis (R-Taylorville) joined the Scott Miller Show on WJBC and said he’s concerned the governor’s plan isn’t more regionalized.

“Because when you look at it, as one of my primary healthcare clinic directors texted me, he said I don’t think we’d even make phase five in a normal flu season,” Davis said.
“My point is how do we get to a phase four and then eventually to a phase five where we can see those students back, we’ve got to have those students back for the economy in Bloomington-Normal.”
Several Central Illinois mayors and leaders have asked the governor to reconsider his plan. They want a new Heart of Illinois region, which would include McLean, Tazewell, Woodford, Livingston and Peoria counties.
