Face covering will be required on Connect Transit buses

NORMAL – A face mask or face covering will be required on all Connect Transit buses.

The new requirement will start Sunday, April 26, until further notice, according to a news release.

“This new policy is the latest action taken by Connect Transit to protect frontline employees and passengers from the spread of the novel coronavirus,” according to the release.

Connect says it will continue to operate a reduced service schedule and all customers will be asked to continue to maintain appropriate spacing for social distancing purposes (6ft or more). Buses will be limited to 10 passengers for safe social distancing measures.
