Bitterly cold conditions to end week, list of warming centers in McLean County

BLOOMINGTON – The McLean County Emergency Management Agency is preparing as bitterly cold conditions are expected to hit the area at the end of this week.

The agency has shared a list of warming centers and shelters in the area  That list is below.  Here is a link to a GIS map of them.

People that are homeless or need a shelter that is less temporary should call PATH Crisis Center at 211 or 309-827-4005 for additional assistance.

News partner Heart of Illinois ABC Meteorologist Joe Puma says arctic air will arrive on Thursday night as temperatures actually fall below zero. The coldest air we’ve seen so far this winter.
