BLOOMINGTON – A Bloomington man is facing a class 3 felony after allegedly punching a McLean County Sheriffs Officer in the head at the McLean County Law and Justice Center.
On January 27th, McLean County Sheriff Jon Sandage said Larry Fink, 45, was acting in a way that drew officers’ attention.
Sandage said once an officer made contact with Fink, Fink allegedly punched the officer in the side of the head.
The sheriff said deputies then tased and arrested Fink. The officer suffered minor injuries during the incident. Fink was treated at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center.
Fink faces one count of aggravated battery and two counts of resisting a police officer. Bond for Fink has been set at $785.
