BLOOMINGTON – The man who escaped from police custody Tuesday morning on Bloomington’s south side has been arrested.
Bloomington Police said Thursday just after 11:50 a.m. James Snow was arrested without incident on Standish Drive. No other details were immediately available.
The 29-year old escaped from authorities Tuesday in the area of Cardinal Ridge trailer park. Snow was being taken into custody for an active warrant by the Illinois Department of Corrections. He fled while handcuffed and without shoes.
Snow was paroled April 10. His prior record in McLean County includes residential burglary, drug charges, and escape of an officer in 2013.
