BLOOMINGTON – Frontier Airlines is again offering nonstop service between Bloomington-Normal and Denver.
The service resumes Tuesday and also runs Thursdays and Sundays with flights available for booking through November 12.
Frontier has not announced whether flights will be extended beyond November, or continue on a seasonal basis, according to Central Illinois Regional Airport Deputy Director of Marketing Fran Strebing.
Strebing said flights to and from Denver were well received when they were offered during a six week period from last September to November.
Of the comparable regional airports in Peoria, Springfield, Champaign, and Decatur, CIRA is the only one offering nonstop service to Denver, said Strebing.
Flying the 180 seat Airbus 320, Frontier departs CIRA at 10:02 am, arriving in Denver at 11:33 a.m. Flights from Denver leave at 6 a.m., arriving here at 9:12 a.m.
