TREMONT – A Tazewell County woman is being treated for rabies after being bitten by a bat.
The Tazewell County Health Department reported the incident on its Facebook page. Along with bats, other animals that contain rabies are raccoons, skunks, foxes and coyotes.
The health department advises not to touch or bring wild animals inside.
