BLOOMINGTON – A fire started possibly by a fireplace caused about $50,000 in damage to a Bloomington home.
Firefighters were called to 1009 E. Jefferson St. around 3:13 a.m. Monday and found heavy smoke coming from the residence’s eaves. Fire officials say the family escaped without injuries.
