BPD investigating reported Sunday shooting

BLOOMINGTON – Bloomington Police are investigating a report of gun shots that reportedly occurred Sunday evening on the city’s west side.

Police were called to the intersection of West Monroe and North Mason Streets shortly after 6:30 p.m. One witness at the scene told officers they heard three gun shots, while another reported seeing an unidentified black male shooting towards another black man.

Officers searched the area and found no evidence of a shooting. No injuries were reported and police haven’t made any arrests in connection to the reported shooting.
