Bloomington man identified in fatal stabbing

BLOOMINGTON – A Bloomington man has been identified as the victim of a fatal stabbing that occurred Saturday afternoon in the Cardinal Ridge mobile home park.

In a news release, McLean County Coroner Kathy Davis said Cullen Hedrick, 21, of Bloomington died from a stab wound to his chest. Toxicology results are pending.

Hedrick was rushed to St. Joseph’s Medical Center after he was stabbed. Bloomington Police received a call shortly after 1 p.m. notifying them of the incident. Hedrick was pronounced dead about 20 minutes later.

The Bloomington Police Department and the County Coroner’s Office are investigating the incident.
