‘Zoo Do’ sets fundraising record

BLOOMINGTON – Miller Park’s Zoo’s largest annual fundraiser was a record-setter.

Organizers said the 10th annual event on Sept. 23 brought in $89,000. An estimated 275 guests attended, enjoying animal encounters, dinner and a silent and live auction.

“These funds will be used by the Society to benefit Miller Park Zoo, including renovation of many animal exhibits,” said Deanna Frautschi, President of the Miller Park Zoological Society.
