
MCLEAN COUNTY, Ill. (WMBD) — A two-vehicle collision involving a semi on Interstate 39 has caused southbound lanes to be shuttered pending the investigation.
The Illinois State Police said the accident occurred at 12:49 p.m. Wednesday at mile marker 8 as the interstate goes south towards Bloomington and Normal.
That’s near E 2500 County Road North, the state police said.
Troopers responded to the area on a report of a two-vehicle crash. There is no further information available at this time.
I-39 southbound lanes were closed. The right lane is now open.
