BLOOMINGTON – McLean County Board chairman John McIntyre resigned Tuesday afternoon for unknown reasons.
According to a news release, board members will select McIntyre’s replacement on October 12.
For those interested in his position, resumes and applications must be submitted to the county administrator’s office by 12 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 5. Eligible applicants are invited to address the Executive Committee on October 9.
All eligible applicants must be a Republican and live in District 5.
Election for a new Chair and Vice Chair will be held at the September County Board Meeting.
