BLOOMINGTON – The Saints are marching to 3-1 in the Illini Prairie Conference after a 42-28 win over Monticello in Week 4 of the high school football season.

Colin Hayes was the catalyst for Central Catholic, as the junior quarterback was responsible for five touchdowns, two through the air and three on the ground. An early 13-0 lead was evaporated before halftime by the Sages, who went into the locker room ahead by one 14-13. A 7 yard run by Hayes allowed the Saints to jump up seven, and Central Catholic never looked back winning 42-28.
