SPRINGFIELD – An accused CEO says he is not guilty of all federal charges he now faces.
Aaron Rossi of Reditus Labs appeared by zoom Thursday in Peoria’s federal court, and quickly entered not guilty pleas to all nine counts of mail fraud and filing a false tax return.
His trial is set for late September.
In court, both parties agreed Rossi can continue trying to sell three condominiums, but otherwise, cannot dissipate any other assets.
He’s also accused of violating a pre-trial condition by allegedly testing positive for a controlled substances that was not detailed in Thursday’s court appearance.
The defense told the judge they hope to resolve that issue with the prosecution, without a court hearing.
