Anonymous donor gifts $5M to Illinois State University and University High School

NORMAL – An anonymous donor is gifting $5 million to Illinois State University to set the stage for the next generation of teachers.

Among the most significant gifts in university history, the gift is set to benefit the College of Education to boost teaching talent through research and advocacy.

In addition, a portion of the funds will support a scholarship for University High School students.

“The donor’s commitment speaks to the value of the Illinois State University experience and demonstrates a desire to see the University and our students succeed,” said ISU President Dr. Terry Goss Kinzy. “We’re incredibly grateful for the donor’s trust, vision, and investment.”

According to a news release, there are 28 scholarships for U-High students.
