BLOOMINGTON-Walking the streets of uptown normal this weekend in the Sharin Of The Green Parade are members of Children’s Home and Aid.
Children’s Home & Aid is a leading child and family service agency in Illinois, and Program Director Ingrid Brown is devoted to showing any support she can to families across the state.
“I oversee the home visiting program and that’s what this years parade is benefiting. We work very closely with families prenatally through the time that the child turns five,” Brown said.
Any donations made to the Children’s Home and Aid on Saturday during the parade will go to families throughout Illinois. The St. Patrick Day celebration starts are 1:00 p.m. and culminates at 3:00 p.m.
“We encourage folks to give what they can and support the work that we are doing day in and day out,” Brown urged.
