BLOOMINGTON – A shooting Monday night on Bloomington’s near east side wounded a teenage boy, a police sergeant said.
No one has been arrested.
Police were called about 7:20 p.m. to the 800 block of East Wood, near Emerson Park, where the boy suffered a single gunshot wound to the torso, said Police Sgt. Kiel Nowers.
He said the boy was taken to a local hospital for treatment of apparent non-life-threatening injuries.
Police did not have suspect information.
