BLOOMINGTON- One-hundred and sixteen McLean County residents have been marked withCOVID-19. Thirty-one of which have been admitted into local hospitals.
McLean County hospitals are reporting 88% of ICU beds in use, nearing full capacity as cases rise throughout the area. There have been 290 COVID-19 related-deaths in McLean County.
Officials report that 1,183 individuals are isolating at home while over 24,000 folks are reported being recovered. The County’s cumulative positivity rate remained steady at 4.1%, while the rolling 7-day positivity rate increased to 5.9%.
The McLean County Health Department urges residents to continue getting tested due to high community transmission rates in Illinois. Individuals wishing to get tested can visit Grossinger Motors Arena throughout the week.
