BLOOMINGTON – The Baby Fold’s Festival of Trees gets underway Thursday morning at the Interstate Center in Bloomington.
The event is a long-standing community tradition that provides critical funding to local children’s programs and helps support The Baby Fold. It’s the organization’s largest fundraiser.
Baby Fold Vice President of Development and Public Relations Aimee Beam explains what to expect at the event. She spoke with WJBC’s Scott Miller.
“Envision a huge silent auction, a winter wonderland of holiday items that are all up for bid,” said Beam. “We’ve mixed that as well with fun activities, so it’s a destination that people can come and enjoy the atmosphere.”
All bidding will take place on your mobile phone through an online auction website to create a paperless environment.
This year’s event will be in person Nov. 18-20. Then Sunday, Nov. 21 will be curbside pickup for auction winners who aren’t comfortable attending the event.
Ticket information and all of the details can be found here.
