BLOOMINGTON – The McLean County Health Department reported 23 new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday.
Local health officials report that 224 people are isolated at home, while 22,609 have been released from isolation and are recovered.
At last count, 14 McLean County residents are hospitalized due to COVID-19, while 14 people are hospitalized in twin-city hospitals with the virus.
In addition, officials report 85% of ICU beds and 89% of total beds are in use in the county. That’s compared to 85% of ICU beds and 87% of ICU beds on Wednesday.
The county’s cumulative positivity rate remained steady at 4.2%, while the county’s rolling 7-day positivity rate declined to 1.9% from 2.0% on Wednesday.
There have been 275 COVID-related deaths in the county.
On the vaccine front, approximately 195,477 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in the county, and 55.42% of the county’s population is fully vaccinated.
