BLOOMINGTON – Over 180,000 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in McLean County, as health officials report 82 new cases of the virus.
Officials also report that McLean County hospitals are nearing capacity as 92% of ICU beds are used, and 95% of total beds are used.
McLean County Public Affairs Coordinator Marianne Manko reports 22 McLean County residents are hospitalized for COVID-19, while eight residents from outside the county are hospitalized in the county.
Manko also reports 543 people remain in home isolation, while 19,794 people have been released from isolation and are considered recovered.
The county’s cumulative positivity rate remained even at 4.7%, and the rolling 7-day positivity rate increased to 4.3% from 4.1%.
Health officials report approximately 180,067 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in the county, and 52.18% of the population is fully vaccinated.
There have been 245 COVID-related deaths in the county.
