HUDSON – A fugitive who’s been on the loose since running from a car crash in rural Hudson early Tuesday morning is in police custody.
Police said an area resident contacted authorities Thursday after spotting Brian Morgan just northeast of Hudson. Morgan surrendered without incident, according to police. Morgan was not armed, nor was he wearing shoes as police said during the two-day manhunt.
Police said Morgan was taken to an area hospital because he may have been dehydrated from his two days on the run.
McLean County Sheriff’s Police said Morgan fled from authorities after the car in which he was a passenger crashed into a utility pole about 3:30 a.m. Tuesday in rural Hudson.
Police said multiple counties sought his arrest on several warrants.
