BlOOMINGTON – Another McLean County resident has died from COVID-19, while health officials report 29 new virus cases in the past week.
Health officials report the latest death is a male in his 60’s not associated with a long-term care facility.
McLean County Health Department Public Affairs Coordinator Marianne Manko reports 27 people are isolating at home, while 18,224 have been released from isolation and are considered recovered.
Authorities also report no McLean County residents are hospitalized due to COVID-19, while one person from outside the Twin Cities is hospitalized.
“Our local hospitals provide care for individuals from outside our county, and McLean County residents may receive care outside of our county,” added Manko.
Health officials also report 373,100 tests have resulted in a cumulative positivity rate of 5.0%. The rolling 7-day positivity rate is 1.3%.
On the vaccine front, approximately 164,468 doses of the vaccine have been administered in the county.
