McLean Police encouraging people to use caution when parking at the weekend firework show

MCLEAN – Fourth of July weekend is around the corner, and many Central Illinois cities are holding firework celebrations this weekend.

The Mt. Hope-Funks Grove Park District is hosting its annual fireworks display at dusk.

The city is expecting a large crowd for a firework display on Saturday. As a result, city officials will be placing “no parking” signs on the south side of Charles St., just W. of West St.,

City Officials ask people to adhere to the “no parking” signs to allow emergency vehicles if needed.

Fireworks will launch at dusk.
