58 new cases of coronavirus in McLean County

BLOOMINGTON – McLean County health officials Monday reported 58 new cases of coronavirus from over the weekend.

There are 26 McLean County residents hospitalized due to COVID and 196 are isolating at home. The county’s rolling positivity rate inched down to 2.4%.

73 additional people were released from isolation and are considered recovered.

There have been 227 COVID-related deaths in the county.

The Illinois Department of Public Health encourages people to register with V-Safe, a smartphone-based tool that uses text messages and surveys to provide personalized health check-ins after you recieved a COVID vaccine.
