BLOOMINGTON – McLean County added 37 cases of coronavirus Friday as the health department has reported 301 new cases over the last week.
Here’s an age breakdown of the cases:
- Under 1 – 91 (+0)
- 1-17 – 2385 (+52)
- 18-19 – 1336 (+3)
- 20s – 4853 (+42)
- 30s – 2417 (+32)
- 40s – 2197 (+20)
- 50s – 2028 (+27)
- 60s – 1429 (+16)
- 70s – 734 (+5)
- 80s – 383 (+4)
- 90s – 191 (+0)
- 100s – 9 (+0)
There are 35 McLean County residents in the hospital due to COVID and 278 are in home isolation. The county’s rolling positivity rate inched down to 3.2%.
53 additional people were released from isolation and are considered recovered.
COVID Vaccine
36% of McLean County’s population has been fully vaccinated with 134,100 doses administered. As of this week, the county as averaging around 1,000 shots per day.
