BLOOMINGTON – McLean County hospitals are almost full as the number of people hospitalized due to COVID-19 continues to inch up.
The McLean County Health Department says there are 42 local residents in the hospital due to COVID and 487 are in home isolation. McLean County hospitals are reporting 96% of ICU beds and 95% of total beds in use.
The health department on Tuesday reported 44 new cases of coronavirus. The county’s rolling positivity rate went up from 4.9% to 5.4%.
68 additional people were released from isolation, now 15,145 have recovered.
