BLOOMINGTON – McLean County has surpassed 15,000 coronavirus cases as local health officials Monday reported 83 new cases.
There are 272 active cases in the county, 24 McLean County residents are in the hospital due to COVID, and the rest are in home isolation.
The health department says the county’s rolling positivity rate inched up to 3.2%. McLean County hospitals are reporting 69% of ICU beds and 78% of total beds in use.
70 additional people were released from isolation, now 14,609 have recovered.
There have been 177 COVID-related deaths in the county.
