Town of Normal closes Constitution Trail

NORMAL – The town of Normal Parks and Recreation Department has closed Constitution Trail due to low hanging and heavy tree damage.

Crews are working throughout several areas on the Trail.

“There is still a risk of falling branches until we see significant snow and ice thaw,” according to a news release Monday.

Place Downed Limbs Curbside

Trees limbs also came down throughout the community. Town of Normal Public Works crews will pick up tree limbs and debris placed curbside. Crews ask citizens for patience, as cleanup will take some time because of the extensive damage.
