MCHD reports 309 new coronavirus cases

BLOOMINGTON – The McLean County Health Department Monday reported 309 new cases of COVID-19 from over the weekend.

There are 15 McLean County residents currently hospitalized and 1,221 are in home isolation. MCHD Administrator Jessica McKnight said local hospitals are reporting 73% of ICU beds in use and 85% of total beds in use.

The county’s rolling positivity rate went up from Friday to 9.3%. 218 additional people have recovered from the virus and there have been 69 COVID-related deaths.
