BLOOMINGTON – A second person is charged for a beating in Normal last month in which the victim was found with a wooden chair leg lodged in his head.
Loren Jepsen, 32, of Bloomington, is charged with home invasion, aggravated battery, and mob action for the October 18 beating that injured a man at a residence in the 700 block of Kathleen Drive in Normal.
Late last month, Normal Police arrested Shauntia Damm, 36, of Eureka on the same charges. Police said they’re still investigating.
Police said the victim was taken to Carle BroMenn Medical Center for treatment of serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
Jepsen remains jailed on a $25,000 cash bond. Damm is being held on a $10,000 cash bond.
