BLOOMINGTON – The McLean County Health Department Friday reported another coronavirus-related death and 120 new cases.
A woman in her 90s associated with a long-term care facility has died, according to MCHD Administrator Jessica McKnight. There have been 43 lives lost.
There are nine McLean County residents currently hospitalized and 1,353 are isolating at home.
“It is important to remember that this number does not represent all persons currently hospitalized for COVID-19 or for treatment and care,” said McKnight. “Our local hospitals provide care for individuals from outside our county.”
The county’s rolling positivity rate inched down to 10.6%. 73 additional people were released from isolation, now 4,811 have recovered.
MCHD has reported 968 new cases over the last seven days. A total of 1,378 confirmed and probable cases have been added to the overall total. An age breakdown of the new cases:

- 20s: 408
- 30s: 189
- 40s: 198
- 50s: 170
- 60s: 104
- 70s: 39
- 80s: 22
- 90s: 8
