Chenoa man identified in fatal Route 24 accident

CHENOA – McLean County Coroner Kathy Yoder has identified the victim of an accident that happened Thursday night.

Shawn Moore, 32, of Chenoa died from multiple blunt injuries sustained in the crash, according to Yoder. The accident between an SUV and semi-tractor trailer happened around 5:06 p.m. on Route 24, near the intersection of North 3050 East Road. Moore was the driver of the SUV.

The condition of the semi driver is unknown. This incident remains under investigation by Illinois State Police and the coroner’s office.
