BLOOMINGTON – The victim in Monday’s shooting in Bloomington has been identified.
McLean County Coroner Kathy Yoder says the victim was Jaleel D. Johnson, 20, of Bloomington, who was pronounced dead at 4:31 p.m.
Yoder’s preliminary autopsy opinion indicates Johnson died from a single gunshot wound to the head.
Bloomington Police responded to a report of shots fired Monday afternoon in the 1600 block of Iowa Street.
Another shooting victim was a 22-year-old man transported to Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana.
A third shooting victim walked into Carle BroMenn with serious injuries.
