BLOOMINGTON – The McLean County Health Department Friday reported two additional coronavirus-related deaths.
A man in his 50s and a woman in her 70s both with underlying health conditions, according to MCHD Administrator Jessica McKnight. There have been 26 COVID-related deaths in the county.
MCHD reported 24 new cases of COVID-19, as there are 193 active cases. Nine people are currently hospitalized and 184 are isolating at home.
There have been 160 new cases of COVID over the last seven days, according to the health department. Here’s an age breakdown of the cases:
- 1-17: 9
- 18-19: 9
- 20s: 41
- 30s: 25
- 40s: 18
- 50s: 17
- 60s: 15
- 70s: 9
- 80s: 9
- 90s: 6
- 100s: 2
24 additional people were released from isolation, now 3,287 have recovered from the virus. The county’s rolling positivity rate fell slightly to 3%.
