BLOOMINGTON – Two more McLean County residents are in the hospital due to COVID-19 as local health officials Thursday announced 21 new cases.

There are 11 people currently hospitalized, three in intensive care, and 144 are isolating at home, according to McLean County Health Department Administrator Jessica McKnight.
51 additional people have been released from isolation, now 3,144 have recovered. The county’s rolling positivity rate inched up to 2.7%, still below the statewide rate of 3.6%.
There have been 23 COVID-related deaths in the county.
