Mobile COVID-19 testing site in Bloomington

BLOOMINGTON – A three-day free COVID-19 testing site will be in Bloomington this week.

The drive-up site will be outside the Ferrero USA facility at 2501 Beich Road. The site will be open to Ferrero employees and members of the Bloomington community of all ages. It can accommodate 300 tests per day and will be open these times:

  • Tuesday, September 15, 5 am-1 pm
  • Wednesday, September 16, 9 am-5 pm
  • Thursday, September 17, 6 am-2 pm

“An integral part of the Ferrero culture is supporting the communities where we live and work- it’s second nature to us,” said Federico Forti, Vice President of Industrial Operations at the Bloomington facility of Ferrero.

“We applaud Ferrero USA for their efforts in partnering with the state to offer this additional COVID testing option in our community,” said Bloomington City Manager Tim Gleason.

Testing is also available seven days a week at the McLean County Fairgrounds in Bloomington.
