BLOOMINGTON – Bloomington Police is asking for the public’s help in solving three separate shootings.
Police report officers responded to a shots fired call after learning that a suspect had shot at an occupied vehicle driving in the area around 6:15 p.m. near the intersection of North Roosevelt Avenue and West Chestnut Street.
Officers report the adult make victim was struck by gunfire, and an adult male passenger was not injured. The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries to his arm and was transported to Carle-BroMenn Hospital. The victim was treated and then released.
Then around 12:40 a.m., officers responded for a call of shots fired in the 600 block of West Mulberry Street. Police say gunfire hit an occupied residence.
Officers say the third shooting occurred around 4 a.m. in the 400 block of Wet Graham Street. Police reports indicate gunfire hit an occupied residence and an unoccupied vehicle.
There have been no arrests, and the investigations remain ongoing.
