One person killed in Saturday morning Motorcycle accident in Bloomington

BLOOMINGTON – McLean County Coroner Dr. Kathy Yoder says a single vehicle crash claimed the life of a 45-year-old man early Saturday morning.

At 12:04 a.m., Bloomington Fire Department and the Bloomington Police Department responded to the scene where the man was reportedly heading southbound on Center Street near the intersection of Armory Drive, in Bloomington. It is still unclear how the man lost control of the vehicle.

Yoder identified the victim as Austin D. Roof, of Blomington.

His passenger, who has also not been identified yet, was taken to a nearby hospital.

This incident remains under investigation by the McLean County Coroner’s Office and the Bloomington Police Department.
