McLean County Museum of History names new Executive Director

BLOOMINGTON – The McLean County Museum of History has appointed a new Executive Director.

Current Executive Director of the McLean County Multicultural Leadership Program, and Ward 4 Alderperson, Julie Emig will take over the position of Executive Director by September 1.

Dr. Emig stated she is honored to have accepted the position, and the Museum and MCLP are united in their work to elevate and educate our community.

Dr. Emig is working with Greg Koos, the Museum’s Interim Executive Director, to transition to her new role over the next two months.

During this time, she will work on a smooth change to new leadership at MCLP.

Board President Bob Watkins said they are excited to have Dr. Emig come aboard to lead the museum into a bright future.
