BLOOMINGTON – Police are probing a shooting that injured a man from Normal Tuesday night.
Bloomington Police were called around 10:48 p.m. to a shots fired incident in the 1400 block of West Market Street. When officers arrived they located evidence that a shooting took place and learned that a victim had already left the scene.
BPD located a 25-year-old man at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center that had injuries consistent with a gunshot wound. At that time, the man was in stable condition, according to police.
No other injuries were reported. There is no suspect information at this time and no arrests have been made. The motive for the shooting is still under investigation.
