COOKSVILLE – Rescue crews had to use heavy extrication equipment after a Thursday evening crash between a car and a pick-up truck in rural McLean County.
The crash happened around 7:30 p.m. on Route 9 and the LeRoy-Lexington Blacktop, east of Bloomington.
Cooksville Fire Chief Roger Clark told our news partner HOI ABC the crash sent four people to the hospital, although they apparently did not suffer life-threatening injuries. Clark said first responders used heavy extrication equipment to free victims from the car.
No other information about the crash was immediately available. Crews from LeRoy and Ellsworth assisted at the scene.
